Supply Chain Manager – Life Sciences

Supply Chain Manager directs and coordinates production, purchasing, warehousing and distribution activities to limit costs and improve efficiency. The role holder also examines existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs and directs the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.

Brief Job Description: Supply Chain Manager negotiates and manages contracts with suppliers, provides analytical support to supply chain management, controls supplies at storage locations and facilities, regulates compliances and coordinates with people across supply chain function.

Personal Attributes: The individual should have in depth knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts and applications. He/she should possess good coordination and negotiation skills. He/she should have sound computer skills—database, spread-sheet, statistics applications, and logistics software package.
